Who We Are
MAZINGIRA ALLIANCE is a Community Based Organization based in Mandera doing Environmental Advocacy and biodiversity restoration outfit which constitutes of volunteers and representatives from corporate organizations, social enterprises, youth and women organizations, schools, community members and other institutions who are interested on championing for biodiversity restoration as a means to reversing the challenges of global warming and climate change.
Our Mission
To accelerate climate change adaptation and mitigation by catalyzing individual and community level interventions that enhances well-being, livelihood security, environmental conservation and sustainable asset-based community development.
Our Vision
To be the most resourceful grassroots network of multi-stakeholder actors committed to creating a green legacy in the conservation and protection of biodiversity and ecosystem services enhancement.

The core guiding principles for the achievement of the Mazingira Alliance Mission are individual and organizational virtues including the following among many others:
