Mentorship And Training Programs
We have an innovative plan of engaging students and mentoring them on how to be green ambassadors. We have a plan of creating, Northern Green Warriors. We visit schools and help form environmental clubs where there are none and mentor those with existing ones.
We also organize trainings on climate change for different members of the community. So far we have trained: women groups, religious leaders and imams, youth groups and farmers.
LIVE GREEN FOR OUR GIRLS is being championed by Mazingira Alliance with the vision to raise awareness on climate change and bring fun to the faces of the marginalized girl-child. Mazingira Alliance is the primary convener of this program. Our main partners are Kenya Forest Service who will provide over 500 seedlings to the schools.
